About event
Commented walk through the places associated with Charles IV. with Prague with eyes wide open.
A walk through medieval Prague of the fourteenth century, i.e. the center of the Christian world. Chroniclers call it the construction site of Europe. Participants can stop time for a moment and take a look at the winding streets and places that they may not even know are connected with the name of Emperor Charles IV.
Visitors will get a chance to see the places where Charles IV. perhaps he was born, where he went to drink beer, where he feasted after his coronation, where he went to passionately debate with students, where he listened to even "heretical" sermons by pre-reformation preachers.
Practical information:
- Meeting: on Jungmann Square at the cubist lamps, behind the pub near Pinkasů in front of house no. 14
- Length: approx. 2 h (1.5 km)
- End of the walk: Old Town Square
- Guide: Lenka Kliková
- The walk takes place in any weather
