That's right here. After 10 years of diligent study, the turning point comes - the defense of the dissertation entitled "Forest bryophytes and microclimate". I invite you to come and see it from 10:30. And if you're not a fan of official events, come for a chat and a beer at the afterparty from around 2:30 p.m., which I hope will last well into the night.

The organization is roughly as follows:
The event takes place at the Department of Botany, Benátská 2 in Prague, in room no. 96 (BB seminary), up the stairs as far as possible, along the corridor to the left and back as far as possible.
The defense itself will start at 10:30 a.m., it is a public event, open to anyone who would like to come.
From about 2:30 p.m., there will be some refreshments such as a stand-up lunch + then a keg and other drinks and peck at it. If it's just a little nice, a festive bonfire could be lit in the backyard after dark, swimming in the Vltava river closer to midnight and the like.
The nearest tolerably expensive parking is in Albertov and Studničkova streets. But you'd better not drive, or book an overnight stay somewhere.
If you would like to bring some snacks, drinks, I would welcome it.
