KLANGIFELD platform invites you to the Punctum club in Zizkov at the last concert of the Audit Reset series, featuring the British-Nize Bassem Basinetist Gareth Davis with prominent personalities of the Prague experimental scene.
Weiss/Weisslich Austrian composer Peter Ablinger. This project, which has been created since 1980, today includes 36 parts, many of them divorced into other variants and instrumentation. The cycle moves on the edge between music and everyday sound, opening space for hearing sounds in their most natural form - without aesthetic and symbolic frames. If we can say that Cage perceives all sounds as music, and thus puts them in a new context, Ablinger traditionally takes musical sounds and pulls them out of their original context to present them as "mere sounds". Klangfield Invites You to Last Concert from the Auditors Reset Series, Performed by Amsterdam-Based Bass Scene. This project, which Began in 1980, now comprises 36 Parts, Many of WHICH HAVE BEEN FURTHER Developed into Multiple Sub-Pieces and Various Instruments. The Cycle Explores The Boundaries Between Music and Everyday Sound, Creating Space for Listening to Sounds in Their Purest Form, Free of Aesthetic or Symbic Associations. While Cage Invited Listeners to Perceive All Sounds AS Musical by Placing Them in A New Context, Ablinger Takes the Opposite Approach: Extracting Traditionally Musical Sounds From Their Old Context to Present Them As “Just Sounds”.
Luan Goncalves, Ian Mikyska, Elia Moretti, Jakub Švejnar, And Mikuláš Mrva
