🔹Performatívne čítanie: Sila spoločného hlasu

🔹What might be the power of our common voice?

🔹Performative reading connects six voices that have experience with systemic oppression, repression, crises or genocides in different parts of the world. Each of these voices represents a different form of resistance, survival and search for dignity within the destructive actions of states and power systems. The project is based on the concept of conjuncture by Stuart Hall, who understands it as a historical moment in which several social, economic and political crises intersect, but at the same time open up new possibilities for solidarity, collective action and shared experience. In this intersection of different struggles, there is the potential to recognize that our experiences are connected, that they are common vessels, common struggles.

🔹The reading will take place directly in the exhibition Until the water freezes the shore in the installation of the work Prone*é to dreaming, which creates a space for stopping, listening and sharing voices.

🔹Dreaming and imagining a different, fairer world is a key act resistance. As Robin D. G. Kelley writes in Freedom Dreams. The Black Radical Imagination (1992) this approach inspires us to thoughts of inclusion and solidarity with anyone and everyone who has been labeled as "other" - and who seeks to rewrite that otherness and turn it into strength. Our long-term struggle for equality and justice carries an experience that today's world needs to hear.

🔹The choice of authorship was covered by Kvet and Marek Hudec.
