About event
The regional center of handicrafts of ÚĽUV Banská Bystrica invites you to a lecture by ethnologist Juraj Zajonac entitled, "Dolled laces knitted without a pattern - "po holom" (pillows).
Weaving lace directly on a pillow without a pattern belongs to the early history of dolled lace. The lecture approximates the origin and expansion of this technique based on the research of historical sources from the 16th to the 20th century.
