About event
On Tuesday, June 23 at 6:00 p.m., we invite you to the Staré lyceum community center for a screening of the film "Mind Game."
The screening will be followed by a discussion about the topics that the film opens up - refugee experiences, the search for safety and what support for people on the run looks like in practice.
A representative of the organization Mareena, who has been dedicated to supporting refugees in Slovakia for a long time and also participated in helping people evacuated from Afghanistan after the return of the Taliban to power in 2021, will share her experience.
The evening will also include a tasting of traditional Afghan dishes prepared by members of the Afghan community in Bratislava. Through authentic tastes and aromas, you will be able to get to know another dimension of Afghan culture.
