About event
The construction industry is responsible for almost 40% of global CO₂ emissions. At the same time, there are developers, foresters, designers and builders who show that it can be done differently - and their projects are appreciated, functional and beautiful.
Come and watch the short documentary film Our Future: Built by Nature (2025, ~20 min), which was created in cooperation with Open Planet Studios and premiered at COP30. Through six inspiring stories, it shows how wood and other natural materials are changing the construction sector – and with it, how we design and build the future.
After the projection, there will be a short thematic entry from the Institute of the Circular Economy (INCIEN) to low-emission construction and a space for questions and discussion.
The event is suitable for: architects, developers, designers, students of construction and architecture fields and everyone who is looking for inspiration, how to build differently.
The film will be shown in English with English subtitles.
The event is co-organized by Kampus Hybernská, z. ú. and INCIEN.
Location in KH: C.0 Reading Room
Admission: Free
