We invite you to the opening of Oto Hudec's paintings and the neighboring community Poď na dvor - Nové Arboretum.
We look forward to seeing you on November 6, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. right in the passage from Komenského Street to Kisdyho Street in Košice.

We walk by them every day. On the way to work in the morning, accompanying the children to school, or an evening walk. The trees of Kisdy's yard create the necessary shade for children's games on summer days and form a soft, welcoming dome over the yard. Some have fruits that we can use - linden flowers or walnuts.
The new arboretum is a tribute to the trees that have been growing for years in the immediate vicinity of the passage from Komenského street to the yard, where they are painted. The painting of these trees is also a reminder of the importance of trees in the urban environment, as they help make the urban climate more bearable and healthier for people and other living creatures that live here.
The paintings were created thanks to many active neighbors who took turns on the scaffolding day after day to repaint Oto Hudec's design together with the author.
The new arboretum is an expanded work of the original Arboretum , which was also painted together with the community of neighbors in 2018 and disappeared under the insulation of the facade of the apartment building in 2024.
