About event
Lecturer: Andrea Dunová
Time allocation: 23 hours (the lesson is 50 minutes, the one-hour lunch break is not included).
Accommodation is possible at the course location. Not included in the price.
This module directly builds on the knowledge and skills from the Osteodynamics I module. The content of this module is a theoretical introduction to the anatomy of the circulatory and lymphatic system and training in manual techniques for treating the fascial chains of the whole body and the lymphatic system of the small animal system. The aim of the techniques is to restore, improve and preserve the physiological state of the fascial, circulatory and lymphatic systems of small animals.
Theoretical content of the module:
- anatomical topography of individual fascial layers and fascial chains
- anatomy and function of the synovial membrane
- anatomy and function of the circulatory and lymphatic system
- topographical anatomy of the lymphatic system
- care of the geriatric patient
Practical content of the module:
- training of techniques for performing manual treatment of fascial chains
- training of techniques for performing manual treatment of the circulatory and lymphatic system
Benefit of the module for practice:
- performing manual treatment of fascial chains, circulatory and - lymphatic system in order to maintain or improve their activity at a veterinarian
- performing treatment of fascial chains, circulatory and lymphatic systems in the care of an old animal, an animal with osteoarthritis and in palliative care
- obtaining information about the possibility of prevention against lymphatic swelling caused by inappropriate handling and the use of inappropriate aids for animals
