Opera SND I W. A. Mozart : Figarova svabda

An immortal operatic comedy about love, confusion, infidelity and forgiveness.

The new object of desire of the philanderer Count Almaviva is Zuzanka, the chamberlain countess and fiancee of his butler Figaro. Therefore, shortly before the wedding, the young couple must use all their wits to not only avoid love proposals from the aristocratic employer and secure their marriage, but also to revive the Almaviv family's marital relationship.

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and his librettist, Lorenzo da Ponte, based on Pierre de Beaumarchais's politically explosive comedy about freedom, created an operatic work that is as captivating as it is wise, and whose music continues to fascinate audiences around the world with its bravado and freshness.

Music staged by Vinicius Kattah and directed by Jiří Heřman.
