About event
The gingerbread house was originally created as a piece for a close family circle and eventually became a joy for the whole world.
A large orchestra plays small children's songs, brilliant instrumentation envelops catchy melodies, and yet the clarity of the folk song and the colorful fairytale atmosphere are preserved.
Don't miss the great adaptation of the well-known fairy tale about Janko. and Marienka. We present the children's opera Gingerbread House in a new Slovak adaptation of the fairy tale by Ján Štrasser and with Slovak subtitles.
The production is suitable for audiences aged 5 and up.
Dramaturgical introduction starts at 30 min. before the performance in the Opera Salon, admission is free.
