With the installation ‘Evocation of Absent Landscapes’, Claudia Bosse continues her ‘haunted landscape/s’ project with theatercombinat at DAS WEISSE HAUS. The space is transformed into a sensory environment featuring video works and materials such as salt, mud, hair and wool.
Bosse opens up a ‘third space’ where human and non-human perspectives on landscape intersect. Visitors are invited to experience fractured, living and hybrid ecologies.
The installation will be activated throughout its duration through performances and interventions.
On 30 June, Claudia Bosse’s multisensory installation Evocation of Absent Landscapes opens with a performance featuring Christa Zuna-Kratky, Larry Mey, Lena Schattenberg, Neža Kokalj, and Elias Austaller.The performance is an expanded re-enactment of the first theatercombinat performance „Sinn Egal. Körper Zwecklos (Meaning Irrelevant. Body Futile“) presented at Berlin’s Podewil in 1997.
