Join a free professional online seminar designed for teaching, non-teaching staff, non-profit sector workers and all interested parties on how to recognize that a child may be at risk of violence, neglect or sexual abuse? And what to do if you suspect that a child needs help?
During the seminar, you will learn:
✅ how to recognize the warning signs of CAN and CSA syndrome,
✅ what are the options and principles of appropriate help for a child,
✅ what steps to take if you suspect a child is at risk,
✅ where to find verified information and other sources of help.
The seminar will also include a presentation of the Sunshine Center and the No Bruises project, which provides comprehensive information on the issue of violence committed against children and the possibilities of help. We will also open a discussion about how the system for reporting threats to children in Slovakia can be further improved.
The training is intended for all those who meet children in their work and want to be able to recognize situations in which the child needs protection and support in time.
