About event
** SCROLL DOWN FOR ENGLISH **
The world's leading event since 2013 fighting against violence against women, young girls and other people with different gender
The Czech Republic again joins to One Billion Rising Global Campaign, the biggest mass event in history aimed at ending violence against women. We are here for the first time!
Every year on Valentine's Day (we do it a day later to maintain common sense!) Millions will rise and dance in solidarity - to take their bodies back, showed that they overcome violence and warned For frightening statistics: 1 out of 3 women is beaten or raped during their lives.
This year, with the support of British Scouts Oversteas and Czech Women's Lobby, we have prepared three habitats: poster production, history and entertaining and educational play. We invite families and the whole community to join us in this dance and movement for unity.
The event will be simultaneously interpreted into Czech and English, so let me know your friends, share it and calmly shout it into the world!
Let's join, rise and dance to end violence against women!
