A beautiful time machine: the legendary OMD returns to confirm that synthpop belongs to the 21st century.

Duo Orchestral Maneuvers in the Dark is an indisputable legend that shot into the synthpop universe in the early 80s, where it is still orbiting today - and not just by the inertial force of the hit Enola Gay. They followed up the celebration of forty years on the scene with the album Bauhaus Staircase, their most political record to date.

"A dream come true" and "atmosphere better than at football", wrote after their sold-out concert in Prague last year. And now OMD will return - and they have energy to give away.

This time OMD will perform in Prague on August 22, 2026, in the open air at Areál7 in Holešovice, where the Prague Open Air series is taking place.

Some bands from their 80s only play at the opening of a new perfumery in a shopping center, others - like OMD - are experiencing their greatest success after forty years of career. Which makes it all the more admirable that they don't build it just on the echoes of the times when they became famous. You will know the duo Andy McCluskey and Paul Humphreys thanks to hits like Souvenir and If You Leave, which still live on today thanks to appearing in films and series from sci-fi Ex Machina to The Griffins. And current recordings and songs are their equal partners.
