Svatý Apolinář a jeho okolí

Commented walk through the outskirts of Prague's New Town.

Its route leads to the Kateřinská Garden, past the impressive buildings of the Zemská Porodnica to the Church of St. Apollinaris and ends at the bastion U Božích Muk.

Participants of this walk will learn how the famous composer spent the last days of his life, where the favorite pub of Prague was located galleries called Jedová chýše, where Albert Einstein lectured, what care for newborns looked like in the 19th century, where theater sets were created and much more. The walk ends at the mysterious bastion U Božích muk, from where beautiful views of the city are offered. It is a place that plays an important role in the latest book of the popular writer Dan Brown called The Secret of Secrets - a book that takes place entirely in Prague.

• Meeting point: in front of the DPP Central Dispatch building (Ulice Na Bojišti 1452/5, Prague 2)
• Length of the walk: approx. 1.5 hours
• End: Bastion near Božích muk
• Ticket advance sales end one hour before the start of the walk.
• Tickets can only be purchased on the spot if the capacity of the walk has not been filled.
• The organizer reserves the right to cancel the walk in case of low interest. The participants with the ticket will be informed about the cancellation of the walk and the money will be returned to their account.
