About event
💙 Movement-free production is based on the unpublished daily newspapers of the exceptional director Petr Lébl (1965-1999), who was one of the most important artistic personalities of the Czech Theater of the 1990s. And not only professional (seven years he led the theater on the railing), but also amateur, where he began in the 1980s. Devotion of work.
📚o Lébl has been created by several books (one already in his life) and his working life is richly documented, but for us the starting point is his private daily from the last year of life, which he prematurely ended with suicide. So we have not only a fascinating creator, but also an unfortunate person, often lost, sometimes on the brink of madness, torn by love and literally blinded by love. The non-written, non-realistic cast of the main role-Lébla in one of its many forms is portrayed by Tereza Ondrová-excludes a biographical approach: We offer internal feelings converted into body language, as well as music numbers, scenes of sad and cheerful, scenic and dialogical. As is the case in the postmodern theater… The work just reminds of the take -off, which the former transport companies also remind with its interior. We realize all the "disadvantages" of take -off for the classic theater and take them into the game; We start from the natural architecture of space and we look at its possibilities. But we do not only feel them, our production is a project about passion and love as universal topics, not some "dictionary motto". The information was the last thing he wanted to pass on with his production…
Uncle Váňa directed by Petr Lébl from 1999.
