OBERFLÄCHENSPANNUNG

A reading and discussion format from WASSER Publishing about everything we can endure - or not

Liquids form where they touch air a surface that only breaks when it comes into contact with a body. Where are our personal and social moments of breaking point? In the 2025/2026 season, WASSER publisher Stefanie Jaksch is looking for answers under the theme of "Body" and is creating a space for gentle resistance with her guests.

The central questions are always: Which situations become personal and social tests for us? When is our own fragile surface tension in danger of breaking? And who and what will carry us when it falls away? Is everyone on their own - or do we support each other?

Our bodies enable us to feel everything and to come into contact with others. He carries us through life. But how do we and others deal with it? When are our bodies safe – and what does it take? When do we say: this far and no further? An evening about body images, self-empowerment, health and the power of community.
