O umění zblízka: Cesty čínskou krajinou

On a summer trip through the Chinese landscape with Sinologist Noemi Guerrero, we will visit not only Paoshan Island in the painting by Wen Chengming from the second half of the 16th century in the permanent exhibition Art of Asia across space and time in the Salmov Palace. We will also visit Korea in the painting Orchid (by Kim Yu'tak). And in Japan we will observe a waterfall together (Jamazaki Unzan-Bunken, a painting from 1796).

A tour as part of the About art up close series. They will focus on specific parts of the collections and give them closer attention. Each tour offers a new perspective on a certain topic and places it in a wider context that helps to better understand the whole.
