Night out in Tabačka
Event by: Tabačka Kulturfabrik, Vagus
Location: Tabačka Kulturfabrik, Gorkého 2, Staré Mesto
About event
Join us for an unusual evening - a sleepover in the open air. We will make fires, make hot tea, talk and spend the night outside together - as a sign of solidarity with homeless people.
Night out is a nationwide awareness-mobilization event organized by Vagus. Its aim is to draw attention to the deteriorating situation of homeless people and those living in poverty or on the margins of society. More than 70,000 homeless people live in Slovakia today, and approximately 890,000 people live on the poverty line. This problem is systemic and affects us all.
Bring: blanket, sleeping bag, warm clothes - and an open mind. In the morning you can look forward to breakfast together for a voluntary contribution.
💬 Why Night Out?
Because home is not a given.
Because even a small night out can remind us how important it is to have a roof over our head.
Because society changes when we look at problems together.
