Noc Vonku 2025 - Depozit edition
Night Out 2025 - Deposit edition
Location: KUBIK, Pekárska 40, Trnava
About event
This year Kubik and the Depozit festival are joining the mass event Noc vonku, which is initiated by OZ Vagus.
- We start with a joint vegan dinner at 18:00.
- We continue with a short lecture by Mirka Hlinčíková from the Institute of Ethnology and Social Anthropology of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, v. v. i.:
Bez Domov: The housing crisis up close.
In the presentation, he will tell us about how the housing crisis is affecting more and more people (overcrowded households, increase in housing costs, lack of regulated rent...) and what are the consequences of the unaffordability of housing.
- We will end the evening with a screening of Tomáš Hlaváček's film:
House without an exit (146 min)
Film brings a time-consuming dive into the environment of trade with poverty, the focus of which are the so-called exploitative rental houses. Through this film, we will draw attention to the unaffordability of housing, and the often hopeless situation of people who find themselves without a stable and dignified home.
Entrance to the event is free.
