About event
Imagine that you just spent the night somewhere on a bench and today you have to spend on your feet, without the warmth of home. More than 70,000 people in Slovakia live without a home. Another approximately 890,000 people live on the edge of poverty or social exclusion.
We will give up the comfort of our homes in order to draw attention to the problem of poverty on Thursday, November 28. Our Free School will participate in the Night Out event on behalf of the city of Košice. We want to bring this topic closer to our community, but also to the general public.
The main organizer of OZ Vagus has planned a nationwide dimension for the eleventh year. Together, we will show that we are not indifferent to the fate of people living on the street and that the protection of vulnerable population groups should be a priority in our society. you can also join us together with the children. We will provide you with facilities, toilets and hot tea. We will let those who are cold inside to warm up, they can also spend the night in a sleeping bag in the school corridor.
