A musical evening that will take you on a journey between mysterious folklore, serious music and the fresh darkness of electronics. Singer, composer and producer Nina Kohout will christen the album Gentle Autopsy in our place and present her distinctive musical work combining old Slovak folklore with serious music and dark electronics. The evening will also feature the musician and producer Never Sol, whose melancholic compositions combine fragility with the massive sound of synthesizers.

✨ Nina Kohout
Singer, composer and producer Nina Kohout has studied at the prestigious London School of Music to The BRIT School, where Adele or Amy Winehouse also performed. In 2020, she won the title of Discovery of the Year at the Radio Head Awards, and in early 2022, she released her debut EP Pandemonium, which received excellent reviews not only from domestic but also foreign media, including the British BBC Radio. 'Moonlight', one of the songs on Nina's EP, was named Song Of The Day by US radio station KEXP. From 2023, the young artist presented three tracks from the expected debut album, which will be released on October 24, 2024 under the banner of Deadred Records. The release of the Gentle Autopsy album will be accompanied by an autumn tour, which, in addition to Slovakian cities, also includes concerts in England and in the Prague club Palác Akropolis. For the first time, Nina's sound narration at the concerts will be accompanied by a visual component in the form of a projection, which was created under the direction of Natália Portíková and Jakub Žanony within Nina's residence in the Akropolis Palace.
In her music, she combines mysterious shades of old Slovak folklore, classical music and the freshness of dark electronics, thereby pushing the boundaries of musical obedience, leading a constant dialogue between invasive horror and fragile purity.
✨ Never Sol
The artistic pseudonym of the musician, composer and producer Sára Vondrášková, who in her work now mainly focuses on the combination of vocals and synthesizers. Her musical approach consists in searching for the deconstruction of forms, inspired by harsh, noisy and sharp sounds with dark drone elements. He explores the relationship between the fragility and the massiveness of sound, considering working with time as a key element in composing.
Never Sol creates melancholic compositions based on layered synth surfaces, dark melodies shrouded in reverb depths and full, yet gentle vocals . Her music dissolves into drone surfaces, but cuts sharply with distorted and noisy elements. The main pillars of her work are a strong connection with songwriting, elaborate harmonic procedures, synthesizers and voice. In the last year, she started improvising live with a modular synthesizer, which helps her to deconstruct and refresh her classic approach to songwriting.

The concert is organized with the support of Liveurope. The first pan-European initiative supporting concert clubs in their efforts to organize concerts by emerging European artists. The Liveurope project is co-financed by the Creative Europe program of the European Union.
