With Emma Ravicz, David Niklas Lukassen unites Preston, Béla Meinberg and Marc Michel in an internationally renowned formation, protagonists of the jazz scenes in London and Berlin. Niklas Lukassen amazes with his painterly sense of instrumental lyricism on both the double bass and the bass guitar. After returning from New York, he now lives between London and Berlin. He is establishing himself with an increasingly polarizing presence in the young European jazz scene. With his individual sound, he also exudes enormous bandleader potential.
