Nela Rusková & kol.: JERA_extended

We invite you to the premiere of the performance JERA_extended, which is based on the mysticism of Nordic rituals. Their form fluidly emerges and emerges, and instead of worshiping deities, we culminate the energy that can reshape the world.

The movement performance works with the cyclicity of movement as a tool to transform and cleanse the body and soul from the times we live in, from the inhumanities that are reality. It is a ritual to get rid of frustration, negative thoughts, uncertainty about the future, loss of trust in the system, sadness or despair. By connecting to the current moment, we immerse ourselves in an energetic continuum that passes through the body like a virus and comes out as transparent hope.

What happens in between is our responsibility. Responsibility to protect, share, transform, act. Being together gives us the magical power to turn bad into good. As we know it from fairy tales. Bodies absorb external destructive perceptions that we cannot influence as individuals, but when we come together as a society or community, the potential for change is more than palpable. We turn frustration into perseverance. Anger at determination. Grief in gratitude.
