< br/>My life began in the Precambrian sea 5.9 billion years ago. The ancient fish taught me to survive in the water, so I went to live with them in the depths of the oceans. When I was in the depths of the ocean, there was free space inside me. Do you have free space in yourself? At least as tiny as a Kinder egg. But empty. There must be nothing there. And it is in that NOTHING, in that void that you are. I advise you. Keep this place within you. This empty. Silence. This center you. Because you will get lost. Get lost! Like a child in the black forest. You will be looking for yourself again for a long time. Tearing up. To burn. They will bite you. Like a chocolate bar...

Lea found herself in a psychiatric hospital. As a child, she lived only with her mother, who neglected her upbringing. She got into difficult life situations, she couldn't find her way around them, she didn't have anyone in her life to whom she could confide. Lonely, withdrawn as a mature woman, she finds herself in another hospital and her case is taken over by a new doctor.

The production Girl from the Sea deals with the topic of mental health. It is an emotional performance in which the actress Jana Wernerová also comes to terms with her own past.

It is a difficult story, especially because it is based on a real event that happened in the 1980s in Prešov. It features a high school student who, out of fear of her family, hid the fact that she was expecting a child. The anxiety that accompanied her throughout her pregnancy led her to throw the newborn out of the window of the block of flats. Writer Jana Bodnárová was inspired by the event. In 2008, she wrote the stage play Girl from the bottom of the sea. She named the young woman Lea. In her story, she finds herself in a psychiatric hospital. As part of the therapy, she returns to her childhood and uncovers the traumas that led her to the tragic act. The play was recently staged by Divadlo Na peróne in Košice. "At first I didn't like the play because it seemed too personal," says actress Jana Wernerová, who portrayed the character of Ley. "When I read it a second time, I realized how many connections it has with my childhood and that it was time to deal with it."
