About event
Everything you wanted to know about cruises and yachts, but didn't have anyone to ask.
Unconventionally and for the first time, in our travel cinema we will not go by land but by sea. We will have a good wind in our sails and sail the Mediterranean to Italy, Greece, Spain, Croatia, Turkey, around Sardinia and Corsica, but we will also sail further across the ocean to the Caribbean, French Polynesia, the Seychelles and Cuba. There will be no shortage of beautiful photos. You will get a basic idea of what yachting is, how to take the captain's exams and where to start, but also more in-depth information about where to sail, with whom, on what boat or how to participate in a regatta. But it doesn't matter if you don't plan to sail, because we will visit many interesting destinations that you can also go to by land.
Peter Piala from Žilina is a graduate of engineering and later postgraduate studies at the Department of Water Transport of the University of Žilina, where he continued to work as a university teacher. He later founded the NautiTech training center where you can get your captain's license to take your first inland and offshore voyages. He organizes thematic lectures on sea yachting and is the chairman of the Yacht Club of the University of Žilina.
