TO TEA IN THE ARCHIVE
During the commemoration of the 35th anniversary of the events that resulted in the Velvet Revolution in Czechoslovakia, you can visit us again on November 17, 2024, for an event called Tea in the Archive.
everyone can come here to chat informally over a cup of tea with the archivists. This year, the event will focus mainly on the 45th anniversary of the trial of the members of the Committee for the Defense of the Unjustly Prosecuted (VONS), there will be examples of archives on this topic as well as the documentary exhibition "I just can't live differently", which was lent to us by the Václav Havel Library.
❗️ On the spot, we will also be happy to help you with submitting a request to find and submit any archive stored in the ABS administration or with registration to the eBadatelna application, thanks to which it is possible to study some archives from the comfort of your home. Publications published by the Institute for the Study of Totalitarian Regimes will also be ready for disassembly.
☝️ Come and warm up as part of the celebrations on November 17 from 12 to 6 p.m. in the research room and the background of the archive, which is key to learning about our recent past. We will look forward to your visit.☕
