About event
The Center for the Presentation of Cultural Heritage of the National Museum invites you to a two-day professional conference dedicated to inclusive approaches in museums and galleries.
The meeting will offer inspiration, sharing of practice and space for discussion on how to make cultural heritage accessible to all visitors.
⭐ What awaits you?
🎤 First day of the conference (11/11 – Historical building of the National Museum, room 102)
• lectures by experts on accessibility and inclusion in the cultural environment
• examples of good practice
• topics including working with visitors with sensory and intellectual disabilities with disabilities, with visitors with neurodevelopmental, neurological or psychosocial differences, with persons with limited mobility and with people from socio-economically or otherwise disadvantaged backgrounds
💡 Second day workshop (12 November – Ethnographic Museum of the National Museum)
• communication with different groups of visitors
• interpretation of collections and spaces
• practical tips for improvement accessibility

✔ Entry to the event is free.
✔ Possibility to participate actively with a contribution or passively without a contribution.
✔ Workshop capacity is limited!
✔ Applications are open until August 31, 2026.
