About event
[English below] Shells, garbage, mangroves. Short films by children from Cameroon, Venezuela and Papua New Guinea
Whether in Peru, Venezuela or Germany – the topic of environmental protection affects many children around the world. Polluted beaches, dying plants or animal species cause fear and demand solutions. In their films, the children from Peru and Venezuela show you what role nature plays in their hometowns and why it is important to pay attention to the environment.
The children learned how to make films in workshops in their hometowns. We show the short films in the Humboldt Forum in a cinema experience that lets you take part in the lives of the children. A moderator will guide you through the afternoon.
