Mozart plus One: Lopes-Graça Quartet and Katharine Rawdon
M/6 • Free Entry
A program that a cycle continues that we will develop over the next few seasons in which, starting from one of Mozart's brilliant works for a given chamber ensemble, we associate it, in counterpoint, with another, modern or contemporary, for the same formation.
Today we will hear two Quartets for flute and strings by the Vienna master alongside a dark and contrasting work by Copland. Completing the program are duets for violin and cello by Russian composer Gliére.
