About event
It's a ***morning*** ***edition*** meetup for the **Portland Art Museum's FREE grand-reopening weekend**! Let's do it!
We'll gather **in front of the Art Museum entrance** (1219 SW Park Ave, 97205) **between 9:50 AM and 10 AM on Saturday, November 22nd** and will enter together at **10:05 AM.**
**NOTE**: **This is one of two** **Meetups** celebrating the Museum's grand re-opening! The other option is an ***evening*** meetup on Thursday, November 20th from 7 PM to 9 PM. Attend one or both!
**About the massive** **museum transformation**: "It **adds 100,000** **square feet** of new or upgraded public and gallery space, provides **increased** **access** to exhibitions and programs, **offers new ways to experience** the robust collection, and **adds new amenities** for diverse audiences." \~ courtesy of the Portland Art Museum.
**Fun fact:** The new **Mark Rothko** Pavilion, named in honor of the renowned artist, **grew up in Portland!**
Let's gaze upon beautiful art and we'll see you there!
