✨ Monika Načeva is a musical personality who appeared in the early 90s as the singer of dark poems by Jáchyma Topola. Her path is connected with the guitarist Michal Pavlíček, with whom she performs and collaborates to this day. For this, he experiments in electronic music, where he collaborates with strong personalities from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, but mainly from England. Her main feature is her work with poems, an original approach and a non-genre journey.

Currently, the news has resonated in the music world that a reissue of the cult album The Sky is Red is being prepared, which will be released on vinyl for the first time since the 1930s. The recording, which was created in the first months of 1996 in the Propast studio under the production supervision of Jan P. Muchow, was a revelation at the time of its release, which is still true today. The combination of Topol's poetry with music on the border between trip-hop, electronica and the dark energy of the Prague underground of the mid-nineties still has the same urgent, raw and simultaneous effect after three decades.

"The sky is red is a groundbreaking work, an exit from the underground into the free world. At that time, Monika and I often wandered through Prague at night, throwing ourselves headfirst into the exploding club scene. I think that writing lyrics is for us succeeded: we recorded a dialogue about nothing less than the male and female perception of desire, pain and love. To this day, the sky is red for me, poetry expressed through the body and voice. Dark and erotic, full of wild, wayward energy," adds Jáchym Topol, a poet, novelist, and winner of the State Prize for Literature. And because this album deserves attention, Načeva is also planning a special anniversary tour for the release of the reissue in May, ending with the christening of the vinyl in Prague's Akropolis Palace on June 4.

"Once again after 30 years, I managed to find teammates with whom I could once again create such a strong group, with whom we are currently preparing a special concert program designed just for this occasion for the 30th anniversary of the release of Nebe je rudý," says Monika Načeva to upcoming concerts, where she will be accompanied by a band in which Monica Načeva managed to bring together musicians and sound alchemists from opposite poles of the Czech alternative scene - Zdeněk Regál Jurčík on drums (Lvmen, Tomáš Palucha, Priessnitz, Kafka band), Vojtěch Procházka on keyboards (Vertigo, Harpreet Bansal, Freetown Quartet, Mikoo, Sisa Feher, Talaqpo) and Michal Koval on bass guitar (Masomlejn, Dg 307, recorded the album Nebe je rudý with Načeva).
