About event
The Mark Twain Library cordially invites you to a day of action against anti-Semitism, racism and discrimination. Under the motto “Live democracy – strengthen cohesion” we would like to set an example for tolerance, diversity and respect.
On this day we open spaces for exchange, learning and encounters. With lectures, readings, discussions and creative offerings, we want to stimulate thought and encourage people to actively advocate for an open and democratic society.
Our goal is to promote social cohesion through knowledge, dialogue and joint action and to make it clear: any form of exclusion has no place here. The library sees itself as a place of diversity where people are welcome regardless of origin, religion or way of life.
We invite everyone interested to join us on this day in setting a strong example for democracy and mutual respect.
