Icelandic black metal elite Misþyrming heading to Prague! Together with Owls Woods Graves, Profanation and Gorrch, on 10/17 Black Pes will turn the club into the center of the sonic apocalypse. Expect an uncompromising musical palette from dissonant dark to blasphemous black/punk.
The main star of the evening, Misþyrming, no longer belongs only to the Icelandic underground. Since their debut, Söngvar elds og óreið have defined the modern form of the genre, where Nordic melodic meets nervous, dissonant restlessness and even rock'n'roll. Their most recent record, Međ hamri, showed that the band can raise the pulse and deliver massive walls of sound without losing any of their famous rawness and precise arrangement. Live, Misþyrming are an absolute machine that bets on intensity and 100% musicianship.
The line-up is complemented by a strong trefoil of support from different genres. Polish Owls Woods Graves (connected with names like Mgła or Kriegsmaschine) will bring dirty, nihilistic black metal cut with a straightforward punk drive and catchy lyrics. French veterans Profanation will provide the evening with technical brutality of the old school of death metal, based on uncompromising rhythms and aggressive riffs. The whole line-up is opened by the Italian Gorrch, who specialize in extremely fast, chaotic and impenetrable black metal with roots in the darkest European tradition.
