About event
The exclusive Miro Žbirek concert – Symphonic Night will offer fans of the Czechoslovak music legend an extraordinary opportunity to meet Meky's music as they have never heard it before. In Prague's O2 universe on December 15, 2024, timeless hits will be heard in a unique instrumental symphonic arrangement with Meky's band, a large orchestra, enhanced visual shows and video projections - David Žbirka's video art.
The symphony night follows on from the successful presentation of the Symphonic Album from 2011 and the subsequent Symphonic Tour. Conceptually, Miro himself prepared it dramaturgically together with arranger Daniel Wunsch. The Karlovy Vary Symphony Orchestra will play compositions such as Ballad of the Field Birds, Atlantída, Len with her, Múr naších lások, Co bóli to přebolí, under the baton of conductor Adrian Kokoš. Renowned musical guests have also accepted invitations to Prague's O2 universe, such as the well-known cellist Terezie Kovalová and the award-winning Slovak soprano Adriana Kučerová, who has performed numerous times on leading stages and concert stages, including Milan's La Scala.
