🌑 The main impulse of Light in the Darkness was the idea of creating a demanding compositional unit that would reflect the richness of mime theater in all its diverse forms. hell, led by technically precise body expression, using, in addition to the techniques of contemporary mime and dance, also objects, puppets and masks.
Creators were inspired by Dante's Inferno, excerpts from the Marquis de Sade, as well as the spiritual overtones of Bach's Art of Fugue.
The poetics of the entire work ranges from surrealism and decadence to elements of rococo and mannerism, to scenes reminiscent of the first paintings of Salvador Dali, Giorgio De Chirac or films by Jan Švankmajer, Ingmar Bergman or Peter Greenaway.
