We invite you to Mile for Mom 2026 – a beautiful community gathering that brings together families, children and grandparents every year to remember the important place mothers have in our lives. It is an afternoon full of joy, smiles, hugs and small moments that will be remembered for a long time.
Míľa for mom was created by the initiative of the Union of Motherhood Centers and gradually became a nice tradition in many cities of Slovakia. The symbolic walk is a thank you to all mothers - for the care, patience and love with which they accompany their children every day.
This year we will meet on Saturday, May 9, 2026 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the park in front of Poliklinika Sever on Komenského Street in Košice.
The event is held under the auspices of the Mayor of Košice, Jaroslav Polaček, and is part of Celebration of Košice City Day.
🎤 Children from DFS Perlička, children's ballet Na štíčkách, children from the Musical Studio with a cheerful play Pippi Longstocking and trainer Zdenka with demonstrations of energetic exercises TRX and POUND will perform on stage. Come and encourage the children and the lecturers who are preparing a beautiful program for you.
🎈 A varied accompanying program for children and adults awaits you - dog handlers and rescuers, pony rides, sports activities, sensory games, a foam zone for safe frolicking and a relaxation zone with elements from Snoezelen, where children and parents can relax for a while.
🛍 The event will also include handmade markets where you can find original products from local creators - small treasures created with love and imagination.
🎁 You can also look forward to a raffle full of beautiful prizes from the event's partners and special gift packages from Happy Baby, which will delight all pregnant and new mothers.
Come and enjoy an afternoon full of laughter, meetings and good times.
