About event
Michal Páv (*1981) - amateur photographer
My father brought me to photography. It was at a time when motion pictures were still being shot, and I found the overall camera settings very complicated. I also got to know the darkroom and all the processes needed here
to develop the photos taken.
In 2002, I was lucky enough to start working in the tourism industry where I had the opportunity to travel and see the world. On these trips, my interest in photography fully developed and it should be noted that technological change in the form of digital photography also helped significantly.
The exhibition will last until September 1, 2026
In 2009, I first started experimenting with macro photography, which interested me mainly because of the hidden beauty of the photographed objects. It shows us details that we would not normally see with the naked eye. Through lichens, flowers, bugs and butterflies, I got to dragonflies, which interested me so much that I started to specialize in them.
This exhibition shows species captured both in our homeland and in exotic landscapes such as Malaysia, Burma or Colombia.
