A new, unique and extremely authentic project is emerging on the Slovak music scene. The performer Meowlau presents her debut album Kvety - a collection of ten songs that do not seem like a premeditated career, but as a necessary and natural step of personal transformation.
The album represents a very personal, sometimes raw and introspective musical statement that combines indie and post-punk influences with honest lyrics about vulnerability, relationships and the search for one's own identity.
Kvety is a musical a diary of a turbulent period, but at the same time proof that even chaos can bring a coherent and strong work of art. Meowlau takes the stage without posturing or pretense - with music that is raw, tender, personal and bold all at the same time.
The debut album does not act as the beginning of a career, but also as a natural process of internal maturation. The flowers bloom like an authentic statement of a young author who decided to show the world who she really is for the first time.
