About event
American singer and visual artist Melanie Martinez will bring her new show to Prague's O2 arena on September 24, 2026, which accompanies the release of the HADES album.
One of the most distinctive personalities of contemporary pop, known for her unique aesthetic that combines music, film and powerful stories, will introduce fans to the next chapter of her dark and imaginative world. The new album and tour promise an audiovisually impressive experience, in which Martinez once again pushes the boundaries of the classical concert.
Multi-platinum artist and visionary Melanie Martinez announces a new North American and European tour HADES: THE SACRIFICE, which accompanies her fourth studio album HADES. Produced by Live Nation, the tour kicks off in North America and Mexico this summer, before heading to the UK and Europe, where it includes concerts in large venues.
"When I wrote HADES, I knew the tour had to be immersive and cinematic. Each song has its own moment and the whole performance is unlike anything I've done before," says Melanie Martinez, who incorporates practical effects and camera illusions into the new show.
Melanie Martinez belongs to the most prominent figures of contemporary alternative pop. With more than 30 billion streams, billions of views and tens of millions of fans worldwide, she has created a unique artistic world at the border of music, visual creation and film. She had a breakthrough with the album CRY BABY (2015), which she followed up with the successful projects K-12 and PORTALS, with all her records to date debuting at number 1 on the Billboard Alternative Albums chart. In 2024, she completed her first global arena tour, The Trilogy Tour, and performed at festivals such as Lollapalooza and Corona Capital.
