Udo Gansloßer (*1956) is a private lecturer for zoology. Canidae (dog-like) are one of the focus of his working group, which extends from purely zoological and veterinary issues to questions from human-dog relationship, animal welfare ethics, social and law. Since the WS 2006/07 he has been a private lecturer for zoology at the Zoological Institute and Museum of the University of Greifswald and since SS 2007 also lecturer at the Phylogenetic Museum and Institute for Special Zoology at the University of Jena and regularly conducts courses in behavioral biology and zoo biology. In the zoological advice of Filander Verlag, he takes over advisory activities for zoos, zoo and animal shelters, advanced training events and publication. The passionate hunter and expert according to the Lhundg NRW has been dealing with the training of protective and explosive detection dogs since 2015 and began studying with the federal police. Their goal is to participate in the training of service dogs and to deepen the scientific knowledge gained.
