About event
We invite you to a masterclass with Tomáš Pospěch dedicated to the author's book, which is part of the Mesiac fotografie festival.
The aim of the one-day masterclass is to acquaint the participants with the current trends in author's photo books and show them how to edit a book or organize a trip to its creation.
In the lecture and in the practical part, we will show you how to find a story, process your own photography project, how to choose photos and convert them into an author's book. We will take a closer look at the possibilities of small print, grants or publishing a book in a publishing house.
The lecturer makes use of his many years of experience as a photographer, art historian, book publisher and editor who works with a number of important photographers.
Program:
1. Current author's book
2. Story creation / book editing
3. Book design / paper / binding / printing
4. Publishers, grants, crowdfunding
5. Consultation of own projects
Masterclass is intended for intermediate or advanced photographers.
