About event
Let yourself be carried away by the magic of one of the most unusual music shows there is in Berlin. Beguiling singing combined with astonishing puppet manipulations on the piano create a unique musical connection that is as funny as it is touching. Where can you find two and a half inspiring artists who take the audience on a journey through the world of vaudeville, operetta and opera. With wit and a lot of charm, Mario & Natti know how to take their audience with classics like “Funiculi-Funicula”, “O Sole mio”, “Summertime” or the “Vilja Song” into a reality in which these wonderful melodies reign and unfold their full magic.
The soprano Einat Ziv, called Natti, her quite idiosyncratic, somewhat too short pianistic accompanist “Mario” and the one on the other Marionette players Holger, hanging from the end of “Mario’s” strings, together form this curious ensemble that will find its way from Wilmersdorf to Marzahn for an exclusive performance.
