The first lady of Czech soul, a native of Ostrava, a great singer, pianist, composer prepared a great gala concert with Big Band Septet Plus Orchestra
Proven hits will be performed, as well as songs from the beginning of her career, for which Marie Rottrová earned the nickname "Lady Soul". Accompanied by a musical ensemble, her most famous songs will of course also be heard, which took her to the imaginary OLYMPUS: "River of love, Love smells like rain, The car has already moved, Shells of nuts, Apparently there are no flowers anywhere this year, We should have met earlier, Don't start anything with that fool..."
Marie Rottrová is one of the most popular Czech singers. She made her first gramophone record with the band Flamingo (Plameňáci), with whom she performed for a large part of her career. In addition to her musical career, she also embarked on a career in television and acting. She shone in the Slovak musical film Don't take the princess from us. Her 22-part TV show "Divadélko pod věž" was a success, where she invited interesting guests from various areas of public life.
Petr Němec /guest of the concert/ is a Moravian singer, composer and musician who has dedicated his whole life to music. He performed with the group Flamingo as well as solo, and has duets with "Maria Rottrava and Věra Špinarová". He retired in 2013. At the moment, he performs concerts only exceptionally, for example as a guest at the concerts of Maria Rottra.
