About event
The diverse construction tasks show the architect's further development through her international work in Frankfurt, the Soviet Union, Paris, Istanbul and Sofia, as well as the influence of political constellations on her work. Their social commitment, rational analysis and high-quality design remained the constants of their architecture. Margarete Schütte-Lihotzky (1897–2000) only received public recognition in old age as a “witness of a century”.
