Mám jen tři minuty času

Performance I only have three minutes of time, based on Karel Čapek's play White disease.

We are burying the nation. A family from the time of the Slovak state. Propaganda. Wars. Dictatorships. We say goodbye to those who succumbed to the white disease. We are burying a society that wanted to expand at the expense of others. We mourn for father, mother, son and daughter. They lived exactly by the rules and still didn't get what they were promised. We remember and pray that they will not return. The author's text of Veronika Gaislova, Kamila Pavlinská and Karolína Priehradná was created as a follow-up to the theater play Bílá Nemoc by Karel Čapek. It is an attempt to confront taboo and outdated topics: the mortality of the individual, the vulnerability of the human body, the disease spreading in a pandemic, the mentality of white supremacy, patriarchy and totalitarian propaganda. The production is heavily based on the body. It brings him into conflict with his own, but also the inherited past, with the past that is in him. It allows to get it out, forces the body to face it and thus gives a chance for recovery.
