Mahadeva Kirtan Project v Praze

The Mahadeva Kirtan project is the dream project of drummer and percussionist Marek Žilinc, whose mission and desire is to bring people another form of quieting the mind, immersion in oneself and a spiritual practice that is real to him. Marek brings to the project the experience he gathered during his travels around the world, especially in India, as well as from his collaboration with world-leading musicians of this genre, such as Kevin James, the Hanuman Project, or from his work in the band Sounds of Isha, which accompanies the spiritual master Sadhguru. by experience.

MANTRA - from Sanskrit means "stilling the mind".
KIRTAN - has different forms; ours is based on the joint singing of mantras, sacred words in Sanskrit, accompanied by singers who pre-sing the text and the others repeat it.

It is a joint singing that is accompanied the whole time by a live band.
It is therefore not a separate concert of the band, but a joint concert with people who directly participate in this joint singing.
