Magas-Tátra Óriásai: Kriván csúcstámadás és a Furkota-völgy

Have you ever wondered what it feels like to cross the magical 2,000 meter altitude? This weekend we will climb the iconic curved peak of the High Tatras, Kriván (2495 m) and take an impressive warm-up tour in the Furkota Valley, touching the panoramic Szoliszkó shelter (1840 m).

🛡️ As an international mountain guide (UIMLA), I guarantee your safety, you just have to pay attention to the Tatra panorama.

🗺️ Program:

1. day: Round trip from the Csorba lake in the Furkota valley surrounded by pine forests and rock walls. We pull over to the Szoliszkó shelter for a hot Tatra cabbage soup or strapacska, and then walk back to the lake. In the evening, hotel reservation and joint Kriván briefing. (Distance: 8 km, Level: ↑↓ 500 m)

2. day: Summit attack on Kriván (2495 m). Exciting, technical, but not requiring climbing skills, high mountain hiking tour from Három source across huge granite rocks. After the top photos and the panorama, we descend to the cars by the usual route. (Distance: 12 km, Level: ↑↓ 1350 m)

🥾 To whom do I recommend it?
A perfect next step for those who have already tasted two thousand mountains (for example in the Low Tatras) and would like to step up to the rockier, more technical world of the High Tatras. Rock climbing skills are not required, but due to the serious ascent, good physical condition, confident steps and freedom from dizziness are required.
