About event
Summer cinema with headphones - God's shift
HUN + CZ subtitles
Young Milan flees from the war-torn Balkans to Budapest, where, thanks to medical training at school, he becomes a paramedic in a night ambulance. But as it turns out, for his two colleagues, the hypocrite's oath is just a few words without meaning, because they run a profitable business based on the trade in corpses, richly subsidized by the funeral industry. Milan is thus faced with a dilemma - conscience or money that will help him get his girlfriend to Hungary? Through and through, Márk Bodzsár's debut crime comedy does not deny inspiration from Tarantino's explicitness or Coen's cynicism.
The screening will take place in cooperation with the Hungarian Cultural Center. Together with him, we would like to invite you to the Hungarian Film Festival, which will take place in Prague on November 16-22. In addition to the screenings themselves, you can look forward to, for example, the director and screenwriter Ildikó Enyedi or the director György Pálfi (you had the opportunity to see his film Hen in our summer cinema in June).
